eMail2SMS
The eMail2SMS service consists in forwarding email messages via SMS directly to the handset. This online service in offered in two ways:
- through the own email on SMSItaly.com
- through the external email to SMSItaly.com
The service can be accessed from the
Control
Panel. The user can choose to limit the forwarding of the first 160 characters of the message or to receive the entire text divided in two or more SMS. Customers can also specify eventual email addresses that need to be excluded from message dispatch. The message will be sent exclusively to the mobile number present in the User Profile. The cost of the service is the same of the normal delivery of the message SMS without extra charge.
If the service has to be implemented for email accounts that are not in the SMSItaly.Com domain (example email@mydomain.com) an activation request is required indicating us the email addresses. Also the customer must carry out a forwarding towards an email address communicated during the activation phase.
